with TemploNow based in Berkeley, California, Electronic music producer Thriftworks (real name Jake Atlas) has been producing music since he was sixteen. With his eclectic mix of erratic, wavering samples and deep bass, Thriftworks has crafted a very unique and dynamic sound that, album after album, proves to be as versatile as the artist himself. Blurring the lines between Hip-Hop and a more psychedelic sound, he can create interesting, unexpected works incorporating melodic, calmer tones as well as hard-hitting, lively rhythms.
